Biography
Harrison Ford is an American actor. He was born on 13 July 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. After attending Ripon College in Wisconsin, where he took a drama class in his final year, he moved to California and began appearing in small film and television roles from 1964.
Ford worked as a carpenter for several years before being cast by George Lucas in American Graffiti (1973). This led to his breakthrough as Han Solo in the original Star Wars trilogy (1977–1983) and as Indiana Jones in Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) and its sequels. He has also appeared in films including Blade Runner (1982), Witness (1985), The Fugitive (1993) and Blade Runner 2049 (2017).
Ford reprised the role of Indiana Jones in Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023).
